Thanks for keeping us up to date with your travels, all.
Good luck tomorrow, and thank you for carrying our witness-by-proxy to this vigil. I've had plenty of people stop me to ask how you're all doing and I've pointed them this way.

Hey y'all,

I'm so happy you have arrived safely--you have been in my thoughts and prayers. Having made the journey twice, I definitely remember how loooong it is. Probably helped a lot to stay in Va. this time! And I miss the Nate shenanigans on the road! :-)

I'm sending my blessings and my solidarity with you as you witness for our Union community today and tomorrow. May our continued resistance to violence in the name of security at SOA, Guantanamo and other places of terror bear fruit--I know for a fact that it will bear fruit in your own lives and those you touch by your witness.

Blessings of peace,

Ammon

Thank you for making this big trip to witness for peace, and for all of us at Union. I am holding you all in prayer this weekend. I hope you have safe travels, a rich experience, and that this will be the last year this vigil needs to be held. Blessings to you, Ann

Why didn't we think of car games last year? Oh wait, because Peter probably would've said 'no'.
Saw the van pic - is that the exact same model we had last year?!
Thanks for sharing thus far and can't wait to hear more - safe travels to you all for this next leg!

To the witnesses headed to Ft. Benning tomorrow:
May God's grace and peace be with you all as you share tight spaces while traveling, while you are at the gates, while the helicopters are circling over head, while you are marching, while men & women with guns watch your every move, while you are honoring the memories of those who have lost their lives. The witness you are taking and will bring back with you is powerful - one that I will never forget.
Remember to take care of your bodies and of one another - don't let the drivers get too sleepy! Remember to laugh, to pray, to wiggle, to cry, to do anything you need to in order to stay well.
Although I am unable to attend this year I have had the words from 'No Mas, No More!' stuck in my head for several days. I hope that none of us will have to return next year, but until that time I thank you for what you are going to do.

Blessings & Peace, anna deweese

Yes, it's a great tradition. Too bad I can't go this year, as I have done so often in the past. Union's presence there -- and witness back home -- is very important. Will there be a Commissioning service for those making the trip? If so, I'd want to be present.

It seems like every time some bad news comes out of central or south America;SOA is involved.Let's help end it.
