Dear vigilers,
Go in peace and safety as you leave from Union tomorrow. Our prayers will go with you.
I would like to dedicate the comments attached to this space for anyone who cares to do so to leave a message of hope, encouragement or prayer.

I am looking forward to following your reflections and experiences while you are in Georgia. I hope this is a deep and powerful experience for all of you.
To the witnesses headed to Ft. Benning tomorrow:
May God’s grace and peace be with you all as you share tight spaces while traveling, while you are at the gates, while the helicopters are circling over head, while you are marching, while men & women with guns watch your every move, while you are honoring the memories of those who have lost their lives. The witness you are taking and will bring back with you is powerful – one that I will never forget.
Remember to take care of your bodies and of one another – don’t let the drivers get too sleepy! Remember to laugh, to pray, to wiggle, to cry, to do anything you need to in order to stay well.
Although I am unable to attend this year I have had the words from ‘No Mas, No More!’ stuck in my head for several days. I hope that none of us will have to return next year, but until that time I thank you for what you are going to do.
Blessings & Peace, anna deweese
